The third phase of the Great Calusa Blueway is open. The trail, now 190 miles long, encompasses three distinct regions of the Gulf of Mexico coast off Lee County. The first portion (Trail Map 1) meanders through Estero Bay, while the second section (Trail Map 2) takes paddlers through the scenic bays of Sanibel and Captiva Islands and Pine Island. The third section (Trail Map 3) explores the Caloosahatchee River and its tributaries.
