The Calusa Blueway offers glimpses of many of the 300-some birds that either live here year-round or migrate through.

Check out this photo submitted by Josh Harvel, a Lee County Parks & Recreation volunteer who checks the trail markers for us when he’s out fishing from his yak.[Bald eagle]
Could the sky be any bluer?

It’s sightings such as this one that make me want to tell everybody about kayaking Lee County, Fla.’s, waterways.
