You never know what you’ll see when canoeing and kayaking Southwest Florida
May 17, 2010
The Calusa Blueway offers glimpses of many of the 300-some birds that either live here year-round or migrate through.
Check out this photo submitted by Josh Harvel, a Lee County Parks & Recreation volunteer who checks the trail markers for us when he’s out fishing from his yak.![[Bald eagle] [Bald eagle]](/sites/calusablueway.com/files/imagecache/106x107/sites/calusablueway.com/files/5-17-10_what you see along the blueway_eagle.jpg)
Could the sky be any bluer?
Could that eagle be any cooler?
It’s sightings such as this one that make me want to tell everybody about kayaking Lee County, Fla.’s, waterways.
